What you will do:

• Conduct thorough neurological assessments, develop treatment plans, and carry out interventions.
• Foster rehabilitation interventions to enhance function and independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform cognitive assessments and rehabilitation activities.
• Utilise therapeutic handling skills in patient care.
• Evaluate and address environment and equipment needs, ensuring optimal solutions such as specialist seating.
• Identify ongoing needs while maximising quality of life for residents.
• Collaborate with community colleagues for comprehensive discharge planning.
• Assess and track outcomes related to care plans to ensure effectiveness.
• Mentor and supervise Occupational Therapy support staff and students.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic activities.
