What you will do:
- Manage and supervise a team of Early Help practitioners, including family support workers, early help workers, and coordinators, ensuring high standards of casework and service delivery.
- Oversee the effective allocation, tracking, and management of Early Help cases to ensure interventions are timely and proportionate.
- Lead regular case audits, supervision sessions, and quality assurance activities, maintaining service standards.
- Champion and embed the use of the Early Help Assessment (EHA) and Team Around the Family (TAF) approach.
- Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to provide coordinated support and prevent escalation to statutory social care.
- Support the delivery of parenting programmes and targeted interventions as part of the local Early Help offer.
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of Early Help services, including the local Early Help Strategy.
- Represent the service at panels, forums, and partnership meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and legal responsibilities at all times.
- Lead by example, modelling professional behaviours and leadership values at all times.
