What you will do:
- Manage a diverse caseload of children and families where there are safeguarding concerns, including Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans.
- Conduct Section 47 Enquiries and actively participate in Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences.
- Prepare and eloquently present reports for Public Law Outline (PLO) processes and care proceedings in Family Court.
- Undertake direct work with children and families, focusing on a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
- Carry out thorough Child and Family Assessments under the Children Act 1989, accurately identifying risks and needs.
- Develop and implement effective multi-agency safeguarding plans, ensuring timely reviews and monitoring of progress.
- Collaborate closely with professionals from health, education, police, and legal teams to ensure child safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and legally compliant case recording and documentation, ensuring all entries are up to date.
- Stay informed about current legislation, guidance, and evidence-based practices relevant to child safeguarding.
