What you will do:
- Perform thorough dietetic assessments for patients with various physical and psychological conditions in settings like homes, care homes, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
- Offer advice, treatment, and continuous monitoring to patients presenting with a broad spectrum of conditions, managing your caseload with efficiency.
- Use your excellent communication skills to maintain close collaboration with hospitals and community teams, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Showcase your organisational and time management talents as you effectively handle your caseload and contribute to the team’s goals.
- Play a key role in developing educational resources and programmes for patients, carers, and staff, enhancing knowledge across the board.
- Collaborate with the dietetic manager and primary care lead in producing, implementing, and updating key policies and procedures to improve service quality.
- Engage in research and audit activities within the Dietetic Service to help advance the field and integrate evidence-based practices into your work.
