What you will do:

- Undertake statutory assessments such as Child in Need, Section 20, or Section 31 for UASC referred to the service, ensuring every child receives the care they deserve.
- Manage a caseload of UASC children and young people including Looked After Children and those transitioning from care, guiding them through significant life stages.
- Complete Pathway Plans for eligible care leavers to facilitate their transition to adulthood, helping them build a stable future.
- Play an active role in Looked After Children reviews, age assessments, and multi-agency meetings, ensuring all perspectives are considered.
- Conduct Human Rights Assessments, liaising with legal services and the Home Office/UKVI for comprehensive support on immigration matters.
- Work closely with interpreters, legal advocates, health, and education professionals to ensure holistic support is accessible to each child.
- Regularly update risk assessments and safety planning to reflect the evolving needs of children who may have experienced trafficking, exploitation, or trauma.
- Advocate for the rights, cultural identity, and welfare of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
