This is a senior role within the Kingston and Richmond council's Children Looked After Team. You will be based in Kingston for three days a week, in accordance with compliance and the London Pledge rules. Applicants must have at least three years of post-qualifying experience within a local authority.
What you will do:

Work directly with children and young people in the looked after system, supporting their journey through the care system.

Create and implement bespoke care plans, considering each child's unique needs and circumstances.

Collaborate with colleagues, fostering agencies, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each case.

Conduct regular assessments to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.

Provide support and guidance to foster parents and care providers, ensuring a stable and nurturing environment for each child.

Monitor and review each child's progress, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.
