A well-regarded primary school in Shrewsbury is looking for a motivated Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This full-time, paid position is a fantastic opportunity to support a range of classes, helping children thrive both academically and personally, all while building your professional experience in a dynamic educational environment.

Your Role:

• Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary-aged students

• Support with classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for students who need extra academic assistance

• Help prepare lesson materials and contribute to lesson planning

• Work alongside students with special educational needs (SEN), supporting both their academic and emotional needs

• Play a key role in creating a supportive environment where students feel valued and encouraged

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Education, Psychology, or a related subject

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about working with young children

• Previous classroom experience is beneficial, but not a requirement

• A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to supporting students’ learning and well-being

• Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
