What You Will Do

• Deliver high-quality, research-informed casework for children in care and those preparing for independence.

• Provide consultation, support, and specialist advice to multidisciplinary colleagues on complex social care matters.

• Act as a key advisor on children in care and leaving care services, contributing to effective care planning and delivery.

• Mentor and support junior staff and student social workers, helping to build the next generation of professionals.

• Develop meaningful relationships with young people and families to assess needs and implement impactful interventions.

• Champion children’s rights and advocate for access to services that foster their safety, stability, and development.

• Participate in case reviews, multidisciplinary meetings, and service development discussions, ensuring coordinated, person-centred care.
