What you will do:

• Conduct advanced assessments to evaluate patients with post-Covid symptoms such as fatigue, breathlessness, and reduced mobility.
• Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans tailored to patient needs, focusing on exercise programmes, breathing techniques, and fatigue management strategies.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, including respiratory consultants, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Lead and support service development initiatives, contributing your expertise to the design and evaluation of effective Post Covid pathways.
• Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and support staff, sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Maintain meticulous patient records aligned with HCPC and Trust standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in post-Covid rehabilitation, continually enhancing the services provided.

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:

• A qualified physiotherapist with a degree or equivalent in physiotherapy.
• Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy.
• Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist authorised to work in the UK.
• NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential.
