Social Worker - Learning Disabilities in Tower Hamlets, UK - Earn £36.54 per hour, ongoing opportunity.
We are seeking to fill 5 full-time agency social work posts for a 6-month period, addressing a significant backlog of Care Act reviews in the Community Learning Disability service. There are currently 475 reviews across 3 teams, with the longest wait dating back to April 23. This role is crucial for maintaining our statutory responsibility for conducting annual reviews as demand continues to escalate.

What you will do:
- Conduct timely and robust Care Act reviews to ensure person-centred and cost-effective interventions.
- Address the existing backlog of 475 reviews and work towards reducing waiting times.
- Engage with individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages, providing empathetic and effective support.
- Contribute to the growth of Community DoLS work and ensure compliance with statutory duties.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver seamless and efficient care provision.
- Participate in measures to alleviate staff workload, supporting team well-being and reducing burnout.
- Deliver interventions that prevent deterioration in physical and mental health, and reduce the need for emergency healthcare.
