What You Will Do

• Promote and embed inclusive practice, championing diversity and identity in all areas of responsibility.

• Act as a key advocate for the occupational therapy profession across the organisation and external networks.

• Utilise critical reflection to inform management decisions, supervision, and service development.

• Maintain professional boundaries by recognising limitations and proactively addressing areas for growth or conflict.

• Uphold and model ethical decision-making using legal and human rights frameworks, supporting others to do the same.

• Offer expert guidance in complex cases and support improvements in policy and practice through leadership and innovation.

• Develop a culture of learning, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.

• Provide leadership cover in the absence of the Strategic Manager and collaborate with fellow Team Managers.

• Ensure full compliance with HCPC requirements and professional standards.
