What you will do:

• Provide leadership and decision-making for all Child Protection Enquiries and Child Protection Conferences.
• Supervise and offer line management oversight for Lead Child Protection Practitioners.
• Assist in developing high-quality child protection practice across the service and the council.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance the consistency and effectiveness of child protection practices.
• Engage in direct work to assess, plan, and safeguard children and young people while supporting families and carers.
• Manage resources efficiently and ensure best value principles within the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team.
• Oversee and support multi-agency collaboration to embed and champion partnership approaches.
