Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Lifelong Services Reviewing Team based in Chichester. This locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £35.00 – £38.00 and provides a full-time, fulfilling opportunity to support adults aged 18+ living with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and long-term health conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strengths-based reviews for adults aged 18+ in line with person-centred practice.

• Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and complete Continuing Health Care (CHC) checklists.

• Recommend assistive equipment, minor and major adaptations, and contribute to home environment assessments.

• Complete risk assessments and develop support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.

• Provide expert Occupational Therapy input to Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) assessments.

• Ensure practice aligns with the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, and all relevant adult social care legislation.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

• Experience in adult social care or community-based occupational therapy

• Strong understanding of person-centred planning, safeguarding, and risk management

• Valid UK driving licence (as community visits are required)

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
