 Role Breakdown - Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day learning in and out of the classroom. Key duties include:

• Supporting learning in Early Years, KS1 or KS2 depending on school needs
• Delivering small group and 1:1 academic interventions (literacy, phonics, numeracy)
• Assisting with behaviour management and encouraging positive routines
• Helping children with SEND or EAL needs to access the curriculum
• Creating and preparing engaging materials under the guidance of the teacher
• Building professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents

✅ Who We're Looking For - Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

We're keen to hear from graduates who:

• Hold a 2:1 degree or above – Psychology, Education, English, or related fields are highly regarded
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting children

• Have some prior experience with children (mentoring, tutoring, youth work, volunteering, etc.)
