Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, person-centred, evidence-based nursing care in line with individualised care plans.

Administer medication, monitor effects, and ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and Trust policies.

Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and planning through risk assessments and regular case reviews.

Support service users in developing daily living skills and engaging in therapeutic activities.

Maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical records using electronic documentation systems.

Effectively respond to crisis situations with appropriate de-escalation techniques.

Create a respectful, safe, and inclusive care environment for all service users.
Essential Requirements

Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

Previous experience in acute, community, or specialist mental health settings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptability and flexibility to work across different healthcare environments.

PMVA or MAPA training (preferred, though not essential for all placements).
