Key Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and develop care plans for children subject to child protection and LAC procedures.

• Collaborate with families, educational institutions, and partner agencies to ensure child safety and promote well-being.

• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and court proceedings as required.

• Provide consistent support, intervention, and guidance to children, young people, and their families.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in line with statutory requirements.

Essential Criteria

• Qualified Social Worker with registration to a recognised UK regulatory body (e.g. Social Work England, SSSC).

• Experience in child protection and/or LAC teams.

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and best practice.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-agency environment.

• Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.
