What you will do:

- Undertake brief enquiries and Merton compliant age assessments in accordance with statutory guidance and best practice.
- Provide high-quality social work support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC), promoting their welfare, independence, and integration.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to develop and implement tailored care and pathway plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the specialist UASC service within the Care Leavers Team.

About the Role:
Bradford Children and Families Trust (BCFT) is looking for a skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to become a part of our Care Leavers Team, focusing on supporting UASC. About You:

- You are a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Have training and experience in conducting age assessments.

- Exhibit excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
- Committed to anti-discriminatory practice and cultural competence.
