What you will do:

- Provide senior-level physiotherapy services, assessing and implementing personalised care programs to optimized service users’ independence and physical functionalities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised rehabilitation plans using advanced investigative and analytical skills.
- Advocate for service user choice in clinical practices, ensuring a supportive environment where raising concerns and feedback is welcomed.
- Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to plan and deliver comprehensive occupational therapy.
- Manage the prescription, provision, and maintenance of essential equipment, ensuring resources are efficiently utilized.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date written and electronic records in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Offer clinical leadership and promote effective supervision, sharing knowledge through both formal and informal teaching initiatives.
- Lead the local training programme for staff to enhance physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care plans.
- Ensure a safe working environment while maintaining confidentiality, occasionally taking on additional tasks to facilitate smooth operations.

About You:

To excel in this role, you’ll require a Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy and maintain current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council. Demonstrable experience in neurology, stroke care or managing head injuries is essential, along with evidence of continued professional development. Training and supervision experience, coupled with strong clinical reasoning skills, will stand you in good stead.
