What you will do:
- Manage a complex caseload with confidence and expertise, providing high-quality social work in long-term settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments that adhere to statutory guidelines, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans
- Prepare thorough reports for court proceedings, maintaining high standards of documentation
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, advocating for their needs and rights

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
To succeed in this role, you must hold a degree or equivalent in social work and have current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience on the front line within UK social services as a qualified social worker is essential. Candidates will only be shortlisted if they have at least three years of experience with Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and court work, and must have three years of experience in a permanent role as per DfE guidance.
