We are seeking an innovative Fostering Registered Manager to join our dynamic team in Blyth, UK, offering an annual salary of £44,756. Overall Purpose:
The Fostering Registered Manager is crucial in leading local foster carer recruitment and assessment initiatives to provide an exceptional fostering service for children. You will work closely with our Fostering Information Advisors and Recruitment Managers, playing a significant role in developing strategies to meet local sufficiency needs. Your leadership will guide a team of Fostering Recruitment Officers and Assessing Social Workers, ensuring the timely processing of enquiries and assessments to high organisational standards.

What you will do:
- Conduct initial home visits and lead pre-approval training sessions.
- Supervise foster carer assessments, enhancing the number of successfully recruited foster carers.
- Act as the main communication link with Recruitment Development Managers to continually innovate recruitment practices nationwide.
- Develop systems, processes, and best practices for fostering recruitment and family preparation.
- Engage in proactive relationship building with prospective foster carers, supporting them throughout their recruitment journey.
- Lead recruitment campaigns and manage prospective foster carer assessments using CoramBAAF Form F.

Requirements:
- BA or Master’s in Social Work, or equivalent qualification.
- Management and Leadership Qualification equivalent to Level 5 or above, or a willingness to undertake one.
- Registration with Social Work England, Scottish Social Services Council, or Social Care Wales.
- Minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience in family placement or statutory child care.
- Proven experience in recruitment campaigns for carers and training delivery for foster carers.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation including National Minimum Standards and Children’s Act 1989.
