What you will do:

• Undertake and complete specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for individuals with physical disabilities within their homes.
• Handle a caseload suitable to your expertise and provide expert advice while maintaining efficient workflow.
• Respond to telephone and email queries promptly and professionally.
• Make recommendations to meet clients’ eligible needs, optimising available resources.
• Recommend and provide necessary occupational therapy equipment.
• Advise on minor and major adaptations for clients' homes.
• Complete Moving and Handling assessments, providing guidance to carers and family members.
• Respond effectively to urgent referrals, prioritising tasks based on risk and duty of care.
• Participate in the Occupational Therapy Duty rota if required.
•  Refer clients to internal and external services as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Valid HCPC registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK.
• You must be a car driver to attend home visits and assessments across the borough efficiently.
