Our client has a requirement for a Senior and a Principal EC&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington

Job Role Responsibilities: Senior EC&I Engineer

1. Promote effective cooperation across Engineering and other functional teams.
2. Assist in the effective management of customers, developing business and resolving technical and delivery issues.
3. Ensure correct identification and application of procedures, codes, and standards to engineering activities.
4. Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.
5. Communicate and manage task and project risks appropriately.
6. Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
7. Assess the implications of changes, concessions, and queries.
8. Maintain engineering configuration, ensuring design intent and integrity throughout the lifecycle.
9. Evaluate technical issues to develop proposals for investigations and solutions.
10. Support Project Manager in planning, control, and delivery of tasks and projects.
11. Make engineering decisions within delegated authority.
12. Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorized.
13. Ensure the highest standards for health and safety in the immediate area of responsibility.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Essential: Senior EC&I Engineer

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline with significant demonstrable experience.
• Experience in collaborative work within multi-discipline teams.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and practices.

Desirable:

• Membership of relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience.
• Experience in managing engineering scope for Projects from concept design to EPC.
• Knowledge of relevant nuclear industry standards and regulations.
