What you will do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for children with SEMH needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support students effectively.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans based on the latest evidence and practice.
- Engage with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Mentor and support junior staff and students as required.
- Stay updated on the latest research and strategies in speech and language therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and skills in working with children with complex communication profiles.
- Participate in professional development, including training related to neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice.
- Communicate effectively with families and carers to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Utilise comprehensive assessment tools to inform practice and interventions.
- Understand relevant legislation impacting clinical practice and manage it professionally.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for travel.
