What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments using various SaLT tools to develop effective support plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions to promote effective communication and social interaction skills.
- Engage and collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and progress.
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies and resources for students with diverse profiles, including those with ASD.
- Utilise your expert knowledge in neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice to adapt interventions for complex cases.
- Contribute to the dynamic and evolving approach of the team, focused on individual outcomes and community impact.

Requirements:

- HCPC registration is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD and complex communication needs.
- Competence in core areas of speech and language therapy, along with an understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards.
- A strong team player, willing to collaborate and develop new skills.
- Must be a car driver to facilitate visits and home care when needed.
