An exceptional opportunity is available for a talented Languages graduate to join a high-performing secondary school in North West London as an Unqualified Teacher of Spanish & French. This role is designed for ambitious graduates ready to take on full classroom responsibility while developing into outstanding teachers.

About the School

The school combines a traditional, high-expectation ethos with a modern, forward-thinking curriculum. Languages are highly valued, with a strong uptake at GCSE and a department committed to academic rigour, cultural enrichment, and student confidence in communication.

Staff are supported by a driven leadership team that prioritises professional development and offers a clear pathway into teacher training, making it an ideal environment for graduates looking to build a long-term career in education.

The Role

As a Spanish & French Unqualified Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Assess student progress and drive strong academic outcomes
  • Maintain excellent behaviour and classroom standards
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to develop your practice
  • Prepare for progression into formal teacher training

This is a hands-on teaching role where you will be expected to take ownership, show initiative, and develop quickly.

What We’re Looking For

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Spanish, French, or a related Languages subject
  • Strong subject knowledge in both languages (or at least one with the ability to support the other)
  • A passion for languages and cultural education
  • Confidence, resilience, and excellent communication skills
  • A clear ambition to become a qualified teacher

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Full teaching responsibility from the outset
  • Join a high-achieving, disciplined, and ambitious school
  • Clear pathway into teacher training and long-term progression
  • Competitive salary of £28,000+
  • Work in a school that values academic excellence and global awareness

If you’re ready to turn your passion for languages into a high-impact teaching career and want to start in a school where expectations — and outcomes — are exceptional, this is your opportunity.
