What you will do:

- Provide social work oversight on Child in Need plans executed by keyworkers. This includes chairing initial and concluding CIN meetings and accompanying keyworkers on home visits when required.
- Lead strategy discussions, conduct section 47 enquiries, and offer comprehensive written oversight monthly for each family.
- While this is not a case-holding position, you will be co-allocated to provide oversight for approximately 60 children alongside keyworkers.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team featuring a Team Manager, Senior Practitioners, four social workers, a Team and Partnership Manager, three Team Leaders, eight keyworkers, and eight family support workers.

This role is ideal for an experienced senior practitioner with robust safeguarding expertise, including participating in strategy discussions, section 47 processes, and private legal proceedings. A strong grasp of threshold criteria is essential, and prior experience in offering oversight, such as to students, is advantageous.
