Social Worker within Children in Care in South Tyneside UK earning £28.29 per hour on an ongoing contract full-time basis. You'll join a strong, efficient, and caring team that includes a Practice Manager, Assistant Team Manager, and six social workers. Located at the MarketPlace, you'll work alongside the Leaving Care, Kinship, Fostering, Virtual School, and Participation teams to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to care.

What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive support to children in care, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for children.
- Maintain and manage a caseload of no more than 17 children to ensure focused and individualised care.
- Liaise with families, carers, and other professionals to monitor the progress and welfare of each child.
- Ensure all responsibilities are carried out to the highest standards, adhering to regulations and best practice guidelines.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work is required.
- Current registration with Social Work England is essential.
- Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker is necessary.
