What You Will Do:
- Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk evaluations
- Lead Section 47 Child Protection investigations
- Prepare court reports (Section 7 and Section 37) and statements
- Represent the local authority in court proceedings
- Carry out home visits to ensure child safety and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
- Organise and lead core group meetings
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including police
- Initiate and manage care proceedings and review Care Plans
- Supervise contact arrangements and attend case conferences
- Develop and implement Child in Need plans
