What you will do:

• Lead and manage the MASH Team, ensuring a high standard of social work practice is maintained.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the service delivery and effectiveness of the team.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children by overseeing the assessment and care planning processes.
• Foster strong partnerships with multi-agency teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
• Monitor the performance and development of team members, providing supervision and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy frameworks.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience as a MASH Team Manager is required.
• Previous experience managing a MASH Team is a must.
• Hybrid working arrangement with a requirement to be office-based 2-3 days per week.
• Hold a Social Work Degree.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Possess an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Willing to provide a full 5-year employment history and references.
• Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
• Ensure the safe and effective delivery of services by maintaining high standards of health and safety and reducing risk.
