What you will do

Lead, manage, and supervise a dynamic team of Social Workers and Advanced Social Workers within the Front Door service.
Oversee the screening, triage, and allocation of referrals, contacts, and safeguarding concerns according to local thresholds and statutory guidance.
Ensure robust management oversight of assessments, enquiries and decision-making under the relevant legislative frameworks.
Promote high-quality social work practice through reflective supervision, coaching performance management and professional development.
Develop strong working relationships with partner agencies including Police, Health, Education, Early Help services, and Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) colleagues.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work (BA, MA or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Practice Educator qualification or leadership qualification desirable.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
