Exciting Opportunity for a Social Services Occupational Therapist within Paediatrics Learning and Physical Disabilities in Lewisham, UK. Earn up to £43.80 per hour on an ongoing full-time basis.

As part of the Paediatric OT team, you will manage a caseload and provide a Community Occupational Therapy Service for physically disabled children and those with complex disabilities, including learning disabilities and mental health issues, residing in or under the responsibility of the London Borough of Lewisham. You will be an integral part of supporting these children, young people, their families, and carers by providing assessments, advice, and necessary equipment or adaptations within their homes.

What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments for children and young people with physical and learning disabilities.
- Advise on and provide necessary equipment and adaptations to improve the quality of life for children and families.
- Provide support and guidance to carers and collaborate with other professionals and partner agencies.
- Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes meticulously for continued care and evaluation.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience within the NHS is beneficial.
- Registration with the HCPC is essential.
