What you will do:

• Build meaningful, relationship-based practice with children and families, fostering trust and effective support.

• Manage a complex caseload with a high level of autonomy, applying your expertise to guide decision-making.

• Provide expert advice and technical guidance to colleagues and partner agencies to promote best practice.

• Use and model a range of assessment and intervention frameworks to support and develop colleagues’ practice.

• Lead and coordinate multi-agency plans to safeguard children and support families effectively.

• Prepare reports for statutory interventions and act as an expert witness in Care or Private Order proceedings when required.

• Participate in panel processes and contribute to team and service planning.

• Act as a mentor or practice educator for students, apprentices, and newly qualified social workers.

• Contribute to reflective practice, data collection, and service development initiatives.
