What you will do

  • Manage and oversee a caseload of approximately 20 children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Undertake assessments, planning, and intervention work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation.
  • Develop specialist knowledge and contribute to training, mentoring, and development activities within the service.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with schools, health professionals, police, and other partner agencies.
  • Gather and analyse information to support informed decision-making and timely responses to children and families requiring support.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date case records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, assessments, and documentation for meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
  • Promote the voice of the child, ensuring their wishes and feelings remain central to all planning and decision-making.
  • Adhere to Ealing practice standards, ensuring visits, interventions, and support are delivered within required timescales.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and continuous improvement across Children's Services.
