What you will do:

  • Deliver statutory social work services to children and families in the Safe and Supported Service. This includes working with those in need, those subject to Child Protection Plans, and children in care.
  • Utilize the Signs of Safety model of practice to ensure all safety and welfare requirements are met for children and families.
  • Engage in long-term involvement with children under Child in Need Plans and Child Protection Plans, navigating public and private Court proceedings where necessary.
  • Support transitions for children moving to long-term fostering or residential care, ensuring a smooth transfer to the Cared for Teams.
  • Work collaboratively with children and families who have a plan of adoption until Adoption Orders are successfully granted.
