What you will do:

• Supervise and guide the Adult Services team to achieve business objectives for your designated team.
• Conduct effective appraisals and supervision to continuously improve council services.
• Ensure compliance with national and local Safeguarding Adults policies and legislation.
• Support team members in maintaining high professional standards.
• Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support to empower service users and carers.
• Supervise selected staff, manage work allocation, and oversee performance.
• Be financially astute, ensuring projects remain within budget while maximising independence for service users.
• Develop high standards of service delivery in collaboration with your Team Manager.
• Collaborate using a multi-disciplinary approach in line with integration plans across Hackney.
• Assist the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker in balancing development and practice work priorities.
• Contribute actively to the development of Quality Assurance Frameworks and collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team.
