What you will do:

- Lead, supervise, and mentor less experienced social workers and social care coordinators, guiding them through challenges and helping them resolve dilemmas
- Work independently, using your professional judgment within the legal and ethical framework of social work
- Conduct in-depth assessments with individuals to create and review support plans aimed at enhancing independence and community integration
- Lead in safeguarding enquiries and implement Dudley’s Adult Safeguarding Policy & Procedures
- Collaborate effectively with adults who use services, their families, and a wide range of other stakeholders to ensure high-quality service provision
- Stay current with legislative frameworks surrounding Adult Social Care and communicate these effectively to partners and agencies
- Facilitate and participate in planning and review meetings as required, ensuring client goals are being met
- Develop community resources, enhancing outcomes for adults by leveraging local networks and groups
- Employ a variety of social work interventions, selecting those best suited to the needs of the individual and their carers
