What you will do:

• Perform venepuncture and cannulation to collect blood samples from volunteers for testing and research purposes.
• Travel to and from designated mobile unit locations in Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Wembley, and Slough, interacting with a wide range of individuals.
• Ensure all blood samples are correctly labelled and stored following health and safety protocols.
• Provide a reassuring and professional service to volunteers, maintaining high standards of care at all times.
• Keep accurate records and document all sample collections as required.

Important Information:

• Staff must be 25 or older with a clean driving licence for outreach roles.

  • OFHE2 Outreach:
    • Milton Keynes South (31/7 – 13/8)
    • Milton Keynes East (14/8 – 27/8)
    • Oxford South (28/8 – 12/9)
    • Oxford Centre (13/9 – 28/9, location TBC)
  • OFHE3 Outreach:
    • Luton East (1/8 – 18/8)
    • Luton West (19/8 – 3/9)
    • Wembley (4/9 – 13/9)
    • Slough (14/9 – 27/9)
• Necessary competencies: Current venepuncture, cannulation, and blood drawing skills with certificates.
• Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday: 07:50 – 18:10
  • Sunday: 10:50 – 15:55
