As a CAMHS Nurse, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding care to young people aged 13 to 18 with complex care needs.
- Managing risks related to self-harm and aggression, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users.
- Collaborating with a team of HCAs and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans.
- Engaging with patients in therapeutic activities to support their mental health recovery.
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the NMC standards and organisational policies.
Requirements of the CAMHS Nurse:
- A degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, ideally within a CAMHS setting.
- NMC registration, showcasing your commitment to maintaining professional competence.
