We are currently recruiting an experienced Urgent Care Practitioner to join the team at Whitby Hospital. As part of this engaging role, you will navigate the fast-paced environment of our urgent care unit, enhance patient care, and support the proactive flow of patients. You'll need to be flexible, tackling 08:00 to 20:00 shifts across our 7-day rota.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality nursing care and manage urgent and minor injury patients efficiently.
• Utilise your NMC Registered Adult Nurse skills and V300 Non-Medical Prescriber qualification to deliver comprehensive care.
• Engage with NHS systems, using SystmOne and EPS with ease.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership by guiding and supporting fellow team members.
• Address challenging conversations and implement changes across the unit.
• Adapt to varying shift patterns with a flexible mindset.
• Independently commute to Whitby Hospital for designated shifts.
