Social Work Advanced Practitioner within Safeguarding Team in Hartlepool earning £35.68 hourly.
Initially for 3 months with the potential to be extended, this position can be full time or part time. Hartlepool Borough Council is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic Safeguarding and Assessment Service (SAS) Team. What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and recommend appropriate action.

- Provide leadership within the safeguarding team, guiding less experienced social workers in their practice.
- Develop and implement intervention plans in partnership with children, families, and other agencies.
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to regular reviews and evaluations of safeguarding services.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements in safeguarding practices.
