Receptionist

Location: Stafford

Hours:  Monday to Friday

Payrate: £12.71 per hour

The role:
Our client is looking to recruit a friendly, professional and proactive Receptionist to join their team. This role will be responsible for providing a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and customers, while supporting the wider team with a range of administrative duties.

The successful candidate will be organised, confident communicating with people at all levels and comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Main Duties:

• Welcoming and signing in visitors, clients and contractors
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
• Managing incoming and outgoing emails and correspondence
• Providing a friendly and professional front-of-house service
• Responding to visitor and customer enquiries
• Managing the reception area and ensuring it is kept presentable
• Booking and managing meeting rooms where required
• Maintaining accurate visitor and reception records
• Liaising with internal teams, clients and external visitors
• Providing general administrative and clerical support to the wider team
• Assisting with the organisation of meetings and appointments
• Ensuring reception procedures are followed effectively
• Supporting the team with any other general administrative tasks as required

About you:

• Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administration role is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional and approachable manner
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident answering a high volume of telephone calls
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard computer
