Sewing Production Operative in Castleford, Yorkshire And The Humber

Role: Production Operative - Sewing

Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 0630 – 1530, finishing at 1130 on Fridays

Location: Castleford

First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client, an international clothing manufacturer and retailer. We are looking for Production Operatives with experience in sewing production.

Previous experience is essential for this role, and the client will conduct a sewing assessment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Follow instruction and monitor work practices to ensure that our products are made to agreed specifications;
• Adhere to quality procedures following our quality guidelines;
• Ensure continuous production is maintained;
• Operate equipment and machinery in a responsible manner, in line with the Health and Safety Policy;
• Maintain hourly work output paperwork;
• Keep your work area tidy, maintain good housekeeping

Requirements:

• Industrial sewing machinist experience (especially lockstitch machines)
• Strong work ethic
• Flexibility
• Accuracy and attention to detail
