What you will do:
- Undertake thematic, case file, and multi-agency audits to evaluate practice and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks.
- Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for service improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of Quality Assurance frameworks, tools, and performance indicators to elevate service standards.
- Work collaboratively with practitioners, managers, and partner agencies to challenge practices and foster continuous improvement.
- Contribute to safeguarding arrangements, ensuring services comply with relevant legislation and guidance, protecting those who need it most.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work, Public Health, Education, or related discipline.
- A relevant professional qualification is desirable.
Registration & Compliance:
- Possess knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Children Act 1989/2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Familiarity with CQC or Ofsted inspection frameworks and local authority statutory duties is essential.
- Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience within UK local authority, social care, or safeguarding environments.
- Success in conducting audits and driving service improvement is essential.
- Skilled in working across multi-agency partnerships and influencing practice.
- Understanding of inspection processes and continuous improvement frameworks is crucial.
