KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Nantwich.

As a Warehouse Operative your working hours and days are:

• Monday to Friday 06.00-16.00
• Saturdays if required - 06.00-16.00
• Opportunity for overtime is available

We are looking for a reliable and organized Hamper Picker & Packer to join our fulfilment team.

The role involves accurately picking products such as cheese, cheese truffles, crackers and chutneys from pick lists, scanning customer orders and preparing finished hampers ready for dispatch.

This role is based in a chilled working environment, as many of the products we handle require temperature-controlled storage. Candidates must be comfortable working in a chilled environment for extended periods.

Attention to detail is essential, as each hamper needs to contain the correct products and quantities and be presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Work from daily customer pick lists and order sheets.
• Accurately pick cheese, cheese truffles, crackers, chutneys and other hamper products.
• Use a scanner/system to scan and verify customer orders.
• Check product quantities, varieties and flavors against the order.
• Assemble and prepare hampers according to the required specification.
• Ensure products are handled carefully and packed correctly.
• Check completed hampers for accuracy before they move to dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organized picking and packing area.
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures at all times.
• Report any missing, damaged or incorrect products to the appropriate team member.
• Work efficiently to meet daily order and dispatch deadlines.
• Support other warehouse and fulfillment duties when required.

• Experienced in a warehouse, picking, packing, food production or fulfillment environment is desirable but full training can be provided.

Working Environment

This is a hands-on role in a busy, chilled food fulfillment environment. The successful candidate will spend much of their working day picking products, scanning orders and preparing hampers for dispatch.

The working area is temperature-controlled and chilled, so candidates must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures throughout their shift.

The role involves being on your feet for extended periods and may involve lifting, carrying and moving boxes and products.

Appropriate work-wear and protective clothing will be provided where required.
