Procurement Administrator

Location: Deeside, CH5
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–4:15pm; Friday, 7:00am–1:30pm
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Duration: Temporary to Permanent

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Deeside.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous order processing experience or a strong administrative background who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys managing multiple priorities and can ensure the timely processing of purchase orders.

Main Duties

• Process purchase orders accurately and within required timescales
• Place orders with authorised suppliers in line with company procedures
• Chase suppliers for order acknowledgements and follow up on outstanding orders
• Ensure order information is accurate and up to date
• Maintain product and pricing information within the ERP system
• Carry out data entry and general procurement administration
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and maintain purchasing information
• Monitor and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Support the wider procurement function as required

About You

• Previous experience in order processing, purchasing or a busy administrative role would be advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when entering and maintaining data
• Ability to remain focused and organised in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing workloads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Excel experience is essential
• Previous experience using an ERP system is preferred, although full training will be provided
