An exceptional opportunity awaits a talented Pastry Chef to join a refined culinary team in a luxury hotel in Venice. This is a rare chance to craft unforgettable dessert experiences in an exclusive, serene setting where tradition, elegance, and innovation meet.

As Pastry Chef, you will lead the creation and execution of all pastry and dessert offerings across multiple high-end dining experiences. You will be responsible for shaping seasonal pastry menus inspired by Italian heritage and modern European techniques, ensuring every creation reflects precision, artistry, and balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute seasonal pastry menus across multiple dining outlets
  • Lead daily pastry production with full responsibility for quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Create plated desserts, breads, viennoiseries, chocolates, and bespoke event desserts
  • Manage, train, and inspire a dedicated pastry team
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, hygiene, and cost control standards
  • Collaborate closely with executive chefs and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Drive innovation while respecting classical foundations and seasonal ingredients
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships within the pastry department

About You

  • Experienced pastry professional with a background in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or similar kitchens is a plus
  • Strong command of both classic and contemporary pastry techniques
  • Highly creative with a refined sense of presentation, aesthetics, and flavor balance
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a pastry team in a high-performance environment
  • Detail-oriented with uncompromising standards for quality and consistency
  • Calm, organised, and resilient under pressure in fast-paced service periods
  • Passionate about seasonal ingredients, innovation, and culinary craftsmanship
  • Committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through dessert artistry
