Our Client has a requirement for a Paralegal, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Kingston-Upon-Thames
Role Purpose:
- Provide legal support across international business operations
- Assist with legal research, litigation, and compliance activities
- Support the legal team in managing documentation and external counsel
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with developments across the UK, APAC, and North America
- Provide timely legal insights and support to internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing litigation cases, including document review and preparation of legal briefs
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and track case progress
- Support dispute resolution strategies to ensure efficient outcomes
- Maintain and update legal documentation systems and shared drives
- Ensure accurate record keeping of legal correspondence and advice
- Improve knowledge management systems for better accessibility of legal information
- Manage records related to external counsel engagement and payments
- Assist with compliance initiatives relating to company policies and regulations
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or equivalent experience
- Proven post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in a corporate or law firm environment
- Exposure to international legal matters is preferred
- Strong IT skills and experience with legal document/knowledge management systems
- Business-level proficiency in a foreign language (French, German, Norwegian, or Chinese) is advantageous
