Locum Occupational Therapist - Social Service Reablement (Early Intervention Team), Manchester UK, £35 per hour, Hourly
We are thrilled to present a fantastic locum opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Social Service Reablement within the Early Intervention Team in the heart of Manchester. With a competitive rate of £35 per hour on an initial 4-month contract, this full-time role offers a 35-hour workweek, from Monday to Friday, between 9 am to 4:30 pm. What you will do:
- Conduct holistic assessments to understand individual needs and provide person-centred support.
- Facilitate reablement, and provide equipment and technology-based solutions to enhance independence.
- Collaborate with other professionals to create tailored plans that help individuals achieve their goals and support community connections.
- Educate and empower individuals to approach daily activities using adaptive techniques and minimise their reliance on care services.
- Travel across the city to provide hands-on support, making a difference in various communities.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience in a similar role, ideally within the NHS.
- Valid HCPC registration.
- A car driver is essential, as the role involves travel across Manchester.
