What you will do

  • Assess and treat neurological patients in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clinical needs.
  • Deliver specialised upper-limb neurological rehabilitation to patients.
  • Support patients in improving functional movement, independence, and participation in daily activities.
  • Undertake cognitive screenings and functional assessments.
  • Identify cognitive difficulties and their impact on setting and achieving rehabilitation goals.
  • Plan, implement, and review evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions.
  • Adapt treatment programmes as per patient progress and clinical presentation.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Contribute to goal setting and discharge planning, ensuring coordinated patient-centred care.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapy qualification.
  • Experience in assessing and treating neurological patients within rehabilitation settings.
  • Expertise in delivering upper-limb neurological rehabilitation.
  • Proficiency in undertaking cognitive screenings and functional assessments.
  • Ability to develop and review tailored treatment plans.
  • Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Familiarity with private rehabilitation services.
