Locum Occupational Therapist within the Moving and Handling Team in Ipswich earning up to £35 per hour on an ongoing full-time basis! This is an exciting opportunity to join our proactive team where you will undertake reviews and assessments across the Directorate, helping to support our waiting list reduction efforts. A driving license is essential, and experience in moving and handling is highly desirable.

What you will do:
- Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.
- Support with triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to decrease OT waiting lists.
- Assist external care providers to ensure the correct and safe execution of moving and handling tasks.
- Complete reviews of care packages to ensure the best value of services for Adult Social Care and the optimal use of available equipment.
- Review double-handed care packages and waking night provisions.
- Provide mutual aid to other OT areas as required.
- Deliver OT assessments and conduct reviews safely and efficiently across the directorate.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A valid driving license is required, as travel within the community is a key component of the role.
